to know who has performed anti-money laundering (AML) due diligence for each piece of deposit business
and
to ensure that all individuals performing AML due diligence have appropriate training on this task.

All RDBA members are required to complete our online AML Training program. The course content has been customized for deposit brokers and their affiliates based on similar material already in use in the financial services industry to train industry participants. The benefit of completing the RDBA AML Training is that RDBA member Financial Institutions you use will have access to your exam results. Then the Financial Institutions can use these results to satisfy their regulatory requirements rather than each of them requiring you to do their own training. There are 2 training modules listed in the training centre, and the far right side of the page contains links to each module in Adobe reader format. There is one final exam available under the 'Take a Test' link at the lower right of the training centre page. Users can take the exam as many times as they want. A score of 70% is considered a passing grade. RDBA will record your best score for the final exam, and will be able to report aggregate or per-broker statistics on exam scores to member FIs. Please check out the training centre and set aside some time to review the modules and take the exam. Please note that there is a 20 minute timeout on the AML training centre. If you are timed out, please go back to the RDBA website and logout, then login and proceed back to the AML training centre. If you are timed out while doing your test, please be assured that it is not lost and you will be prompted to finish it once you log back in and proceed to the AML training centre. |
