2019 Federal Budget
A major component of this year’s Federal budget is dedicated to seniors. A Secure and Dignified Retirement for Canadians, which is available on the Government of Canada website states that with Budget 2019, they are making new investments to help make retirement more financially secure for more Canadians.
Other budget items that affect seniors include changes to rules for Registered Disability Savings Plans (RDSPs) and transfers of individual pension plans (IPPs).
